it has been a long long time since anyone has wrote anything here, and i doubt anyone has been reading this blog.
anyway! i've been looking through two years worth of odac photos a few days back, and it certainly brought back memories. initiation, korbu, fansipan, genting, and all those little outings we had in between. it's a long walk down memory lane, where every photo tells you a story, an emotion. i could almost imagine myself standing there. all these memories etched in our minds forever, yet buried deep under our never ending daily agendas.
it's imperative to admit that all of us have moved on to different circles, different places, meeting new people. it's always easy to brush off a gathering on the pretext of "i've something on", yet in all our busyness let us not forget the past friendships we've made, and all the wonderful times we've spent together. certainly those are worth a few hours of our time.
it's just like how this blog has always been on my google browser as a favourite, i see it everyday yet i don't click it. i think that's what's happening to us. we know for a fact in some deep deep recess of our minds that odac exists, and are glad that we're part of such an awesome group, but like the favourite link, if we don't click it, the site will forever be dead, and our friendships undermined.
which is why i propose a world odac 23rd day. a certain day of the year where we would come together and meet, even if it's just for a short meal. it's a day where odac23rd comes in top of our agendas, and we make a concerted effort to show up. we all need to eat no matter how busy we are right! it doesn't hurt to just meet for just a simple meal.
let's salvage this before the damage becomes permanent.

VJC homecoming dinner on sat 25 july.
