haha it's me again. yep yep took a break from mugging to blog here! hahaha.
well bascially after joining odac, it has thought me one very important lesson, which is to nv underestimate those who are not as popular as others in school.
in vs, i have been mixing with ppl who have been preceived to be more popular i guess, after 4 years of mixing with such ppl, it has been sort of drilled into me tat i should only associate myself with those who are more popular. i guess it's not only me, but others to, who think tat bascially those who are more popular are cooler or more trendy, ppl who can crap with you and joke with you. i am guilty of tat perception too, and up to a certain extent i actaully condescended those who are less popular, or the quiter ones.
joining odac has made me changed tat completely. when i first joined b2b, i met eugene. hahaha seriously at first i didn't really liked him, cos he was just er ya eugene. tat time was first 3 mths, so he was still in his river valley uniform looking lyk a nurse with his super old round round thick thick specs and not forgetting his haircut. tat was b2b. then came olc, which was quite a flop cos i didn't noe anybody from tat camp except the ppl in cyclone. wilson. haha. initiation was next, and tat was when we started getting to know each other, and i realised tat odac got quite alot of quiet less popular ppl. tt's why initially i didn't really feel comfortable in odac, to some extent, i actaully condescended some of the ppl in odac, which up till now i am quite guilty. but as we moved along, throuhg kobur, thorugh pt, through studying together, i realised how those tat i consider not tat popular were actaully the very ones tat brought so much fun into odac. eugene may look lyk a mugger, but he's full of shit. szehan is 100% mugger, but he's oso full of shit. haha BMW. willy's a super nice person. ki has the ability to amuse others(but not me) with his intellectual jokes. i guess sometimes we can't judge a book by it's cover, simliarly we can't judge ppl by their looks and appearances. the very ones tat u turn away and reject may be the very ones who can bring more fun and joy than those who are perceived to be popular.
if odac hadn't given me this chance to mix with such ppl, up till today, i will be still be indifferent towards such ppl. and i think tt wld be quite sad. so yeah once again odac boardens and opens your perspective.
10 years down the road, will we still be as close to each other like now? those photos tat are outside the notice board, those are living proof of our precious memories spent together. i was just thinking, tat 10 years later, when one day we return to the room, and find our pictures being stuffed somewhere inbetween the drawers, will we recall those moments fondly, or will we be glad tat we are still living in those moments. there's a huge difference, in both. if those moments are part of our past, it will be gone sooner or later, just like how pictures of our primary sch frens mean nothin to us now, but just a recollection of the happy times we spent together. but if we are still living in those moments, still experiencing more of those wonderful times 10 years down the road, den the true purpose of odac has been realised. i guess odac is not just about spending 2 years of your time with 22 other ppl, but spenting the rest of your lives with them.
life's like a stage. in different stages of our lives, different ppl are our co-actors, while the rest of the world are just our background. as we progress on, as we grow up, new co-actors will come on the stage, while others will just fade into the background. i hope odac will forever be our co-actors, and not just sth tat will fade away after 2 years.
haha shit somehow i after the stupid gp paper i cannot write as fluently as before. shit lah. haha jiayou ppl :)
